OH + HCl

This reaction plays a critical role in the stratosphere as a sink for HCl, which shares with ClONO2 the role of a reservior for catalytically active chlorine. The crucial temperature range for the reaction is 190 - 250 Kelvin, corresponding to 1000/T of 4 - 5.25. Based on the current data, most experts recommend a driver to put the average club player in position to play the difficult dog leg left, while avoiding the low rate trap at 250 K. A reasonable assessment of the experimental uncertainty at 190 K is a factor of 2.
